ROB FOWLER

First time in Canada, Rob has won thirteen (13) Cyrstal Boot Awards starting in 1996 (the first year of the Awards) and was inducted into the Linedancer Hall of Fame in 2002. A pioneer of our modern day line dancing many of Rob's dances were huge hits and rocketed to the top of the charts and have become classics on the line dance floor including the iconic "The Beast". Rob is still hitting the top of the charts with dances such as 'Wonderland Waltz', 'Shades of Passion' and more. He has also made a big impact on the scene as a World Champion Trainer and a Champion in his own right.

Rob was the originator of the internationally acclaimed 'Masters In Line' which included Rachael McEnaney, Pedro Machado and Paul McAdam. As well as writing extremely successful dances, the group organized major international line dance events including the most famous of all, the newly named 'World Dance Masters' of which Rob is the CEO. We are honoured that Rob agreed to fly over to join us, don't miss this opportunity to learn and dance with a legend in our line dance world.

MARIA MAAG

Maria studied standard/Latin/Jazz from ages 6-16 and then transferred her energy to handball as a semi-pro player for 8 years. But she needed something new and discovered line dance. As a result Maria has now been line dancing for the last 15 years. She started playing around with choreography in 2007/8 and since that time, besides writing successful dances herself, has choreographed with Scott Blevins, Guyton Mundy and Niels Poulsen. Maria has also competed in classic linedance in Worldcdf for about 6 years, and has won 2 world Championschips ( 2011 Novice and 2012 Intermediate). She teaches 3 LD classes a week, gives private lessons and teaches at workshops around Denmark, Europe and the US. This will be her first visit to Canada and she is very excited to meet the Canadian dancers.
